EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER LEVEL 2 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
Work and interact directly with children on a day to day basis supporting the planning of and delivery of activities.

Entry requirements
Apprentices should be at least 16 years old and have an interest in working in the early years sector.

Qualifications
In addition to their apprenticeship, apprentices will achieve their Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner, plus Level 1 Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT.

Progression opportunities
Upon completion, apprentices can progress to the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or other similar Level 3 qualifications related to early years and childcare.
Funding and financial support
Employers paying the Apprenticeship Levy can use their funds to cover the cost of apprenticeship training while government funding is available for non-levy organisations.
