A traineeship is a short, flexible education programme that combines training with a high-quality work placement, to help young people develop the skills, confidence and experience that employers are looking for.
 

Built around the needs of both the employer and learner, the government funded programme is designed to prepare individuals (aged 16-24 year) for their future careers, and is a great first step towards an apprenticeship or paid employment.
